Lead Program Coordinator | Duke University School of Nursing

Wiley Kornbluh is the Lead Program Coordinator for the CARES Study. They received their MPH in Community Health Education from San Francisco State University and their BA in biology at Grinnell College. They previously worked at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, first as a research associate in substance use health, and later as the coordinator of the San Francisco site of the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP), a CDC-funded multisite surveillance project to understand the experiences and needs of people living with HIV. They have also worked with San Francisco State University’s Health Equity Institute as an interviewer for Project AFFIRM. Wiley’s research passions include intersectional and community-based transgender health justice, ending disparities in HIV health outcomes, and harm reduction for substance use.
